I Am Legend 2 (2025) picks up years after the events of I Am Legend (2007), retconning the alternate ending where Dr. Robert Neville (Will Smith) survived. Neville, scarred but alive, has spent the last decade wandering outside New York, carrying both guilt and hope. Humanity teeters on extinction, but whispers of surviving colonies spark a desperate mission.
Enter Michael B. Jordan, playing a hardened survivor and leader of a hidden community immune to the infection. His philosophy clashes with Neville’s: while Neville seeks to cure the Darkseekers, Jordan believes coexistence may be the only future.
The trailer teases breathtaking sequences—abandoned cities reclaimed by nature, terrifying night hunts, and a tense alliance between man and monster. In a chilling shot, a mutated Darkseeker stares directly into the camera, hinting at their growing intelligence.
